NEWCASTLE RETREAT - NOVEMBER

Revd. Roy Searle, a founder leader of the Northumbria Community and former President of the Baptist Union of Great Britain will led a retreat  for church leaders in Newcastle, Co Down, November 9 - 10.

Roy Searle serves across many church traditions in the areas of leadership, spiritual direction, church and cultural change, missional living, community building and storytelling.

“He has a passion to help leaders deepen and flourish in their relationship with God. Roy’s many years experience of leading such retreats will serve our time together well” states Contemporary Christianity which is sponsoring the event..

The publicity continues, “The retreat will provide an intentional setting aside of time to seek God, rest, reflect and be refreshed.  The programme will be very relaxed, with a pattern that includes time alone, periods of sharing and input from Roy.

“Our hope and prayer is to encourage leaders in their relationship with God and deepen an awareness of how we look after ourselves and others in the midst of leadership.

“Between the mountains and the sea we will encourage one another to address the landscape of our hearts into which and from which God's grace flows.”
