Leinstrand Songlag, a mixed choir from Trondheim in Norway will give a lunchtime concert at Christ Church on Friday 22 October 2010 at 1.15pm.
Founded in 1928, it celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2008 and numbersapproximately 50 members. They are a versatile choir with a broad repertoire, including church music, pop songs, Norwegian Folk songs and more. This is their first trip to Ireland. The current conductor is Bjørn Borge, who studied church music in Trondheim and Oslo and is currently the director of music at Heimdal church.
